    Home or favorite faire As of 2008 I would have to say that I consider GLMF my home faire. I hope to make Sterling and either Pen Ren or Ohio Ren this year....and if the Universe permits maybe even Maryland. I figure I will keep going farther each year until I retire and can be a full-time Ren Fest Groupie!!!
    About Me Southern Ontario (Canada) has it's challenges when it comes to Ren/Medieval Faires. I so love the atmosphere and feel of being a part of the event. I am always open to hearing about great books to read, music to experience or movies to watch. I recently travelled to Wales and Scotland. I have 3 teenagers, two cats, a home and a full time job here in Hamilton. I work in the Healthcare Industry. Hiking at the Dundas Conservation Area is my favourite place as well as Elora. I also love visiting Toronto...the restaurants, theatre. Love the Stratford Festival too. I am forever evolving; hopefully improving. Looking to expand my Ren Fest contacts. Be well.
    Music Pretty varied....Sarah Brightman; The Tea Party; Tragically Hip; Sophie B. Hawkins; 80's, Rock (Led Zeppelin, AC/DC); Rankins; Loreena McKennitt
    Movies Legend, Princess Bride; Star Wars; Lord of the Rings Trilogy; 300; old Marilyn Monroe movies;
    TV Rescue Me; Six Feet Under; Firefly (was a great series, Fox really messed up), Friday nights on Showcase (Canada's version of Showtime)
    Books Mists of Avalon; Anne Rice-The Witching Hour is my favourite; anything with a celtic/renaissance/midieval/pagan feel to it. The Outlander series is good.
    Likes Quiet evenings at home with a good book and a glass of white wine; out for dinner with a special someone or friends; theatre, movies, festivals.
    Dislikes Timid drivers; people who raise themselves up by putting others down; liars; bad customer service; racists; gay-bashers
    Hobbies reading; walking; attending festivals
    Vices Shoes & chocolate
    Virtues Genuine, charming, open-minded and liberal. Patient and generally happy. Love to laugh.
    Heroes My brother Jim, a gay man who accepted who he was, lived his life to the fullest and was struck down by AIDS in 1991. He was the most loving & patient person I have ever known and I wish my children could have known him.
